Step 1: Get your marriage license


Before anything else, you’ll need a marriage license. Luckily, Las Vegas is famous for how quick and easy it is.

  • Apply for your marriage license online at the official Clark County website which can be found here.
  • Head to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau (open 8 a.m. till midnight, seven days a week).
  • Bring a valid photo ID.
  • Pay the fee (Currently $102).
  • No waiting period, no blood test. You can marry the same day!

Step 2: Choose your elopement location


Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, this is where the fun begins. Vegas offers a mix of quirky, romantic, and iconic spots. Here are some favorites:

Little White Chapel: Iconic, fun, and full of history.

Sure Thing Chapel: Retro vibes with unique character.

The Neon Museum: A photographer’s dream with glowing vintage signs that scream Vegas.

Red Rock Canyon: For couples who want a natural, epic desert backdrop.

Step 3: Book your photographer


If you're wondering if you should book a photographer, the answer is yes. I've had many couples doing vow renewals mention that they regret not booking a photographer the first time. Your elopement will fly by and having the right photographer ensures you can relive it for years to come. My approach is simple: I focus on cinematic storytelling, capturing both the big vows and the small, in between moments that make your love unique.
